LASERS
True beauty lies in the beholder’s eyes
Over the last 20 years, defects that were otherwise hard to treat have been able to be corrected through the use of sophisticated technology. The energy that is emitted by laser equipment leaves the superficial cutaneous layers untouched, whilst selectively impacting only certain targets situated deeper in the skin. Melanin, haemoglobin and exogenous pigments can be destroyed at will, or tissue can be tightened and new collagen produced by targetting water content. Each target is selectively affected by specific wavelengths, and the numerous technologies available with different operational wavelengths enable all objectives to be treated selectively, as desired. This selectivity means that the desired objective can be eliminated with minimal alteration, or no alteration at all, to the tissue around it. This ensures a very short convalescence time.
