The treatment of the skin laxity using focused ultrasound
True beauty lies in the beholder’s eyes

Sound waves are the mechanical waves of sound with, the name speaks for itself (ultra), frequencies higher than the upper audible limit of human hearing (frequencies higher than 20 kHz). They are used to perform a common ultrasound, because if they are reflected or refracted they can be captured, allowing you to design images both of the layers of the skin and the deep organs. If ultrasound is focused in a single point, it can damage the tissues that it affects. The damage focused on the superficial fascia of the face (referred to the layer called SMAS – superficial musculoaponeurotic system) allows its immediate contraction, and then a lifting of all the facial tissues upward. The created damage is able then to stimulate an impressive synthesis of new collagen. The treatment is not very painful and can be done at any time of the year. It is approved by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) for the non-surgical neck lifting, under the chin area and eyebrow lifting.
